A few days after little Colt was born, his mom and big brother got sick so we had to postpone his lifestyle newborn photo shoot until everyone was feeling better. I was happy to finally meet this sweet little family a few weeks later at their home in Richardson, where Colt’s newborn session took place. Over the course of the photo shoot Colt’s big brother went from absolutely loving on his new baby brother, kissing and cuddling him, to being rather indifferent towards him and wanting all of our attention. So we gave it to him! While we were in the baby’s nursery (which his mom decorated so cute!) I asked him to sit down and read everyone his favorite book which helped to keep him engaged and feeling important. Those authentic images turned out to be some of my absolute favorites from Colt’s newborn shoot. I always find it so interesting to see the sibling dynamic once a new baby comes home!
